Rabbit Nest Rescue Shelter

Clear PETG shelter designed to fit over an existing baby rabbit nest.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

The project

A custom clear PETG shelter created for rescued baby rabbits in Nashville during a period of intensive flooding. The design responded to an immediate, specific need: fitting a protective structure over an existing nest.

Design details

The shelter was designed around the nest already in place and produced in clear PETG. Its form was developed for that particular setting and the flooding concerns affecting it.

In use

This personal rescue project applied custom design and 3D printing to a time-sensitive local situation. The piece shown documents that individual design response.
