The project
A custom vase design developed in two versions: one for illumination and another for everyday desktop storage for an interior designer.
Design details
The illuminated version accepts an LED light inside, allowing the light to reveal the printed infill. A separate version was designed to hold pens, pencils and Sharpies. The spiral exterior gives both versions a shared sculptural character.
In use
The project explores how one visual form can serve different uses: an illuminated interior object and a practical accessory for an interior designer’s workspace.
