The project
This custom recognition award was modeled after the Mary McLeod Bethune statue in the U.S. Capitol. Excalis translated the commemorative figure into a smaller sculptural award with a personalized presentation base.
Design details
The figure was hand sculpted digitally in Nomad Sculpt, with attention to the pose and defining forms of the reference statue. A custom base carried the award recipient’s details, connecting the sculptural tribute to an individual achievement.
