The project
An Excalis-branded version of the standard desk statue, made in an 8 × 5 × 3-inch format. The piece combines a sculptural emblem with an embedded NFC interaction.
Design details
An NFC tag is integrated within the nameplate and leads to an Excalis link. The same approach can be adapted for other brands, with their identity and destination link incorporated into the design.
In use
The project connects a physical desk object with a digital destination, giving the nameplate a function beyond identification.
